The Ohio Marriage Law–Carions Predicament of a Young Lady.

The inconsistency of the law relating to marriages, passed by the last Legislature, was illustrated yesterday. The law provides that no young lady under 21 years of age shall marry without the consent of her parents or guardian. Yesterday among the candidates for matrimony brought to the notice of the Probate Court by application for a license, was a young lady 20 years of age. Both father and mother were dead.
