Nebraska Marriage Law Struck Down
A federal judge struck down the Nebraska constitutional amendment that banned same-sex marriage and recognition of any other type of relationship between such couples. The May 12 decision called the amendment overly broad and restrictive of gay’s access to the political process. It will be appealed. Lawsuit Seeks to Block California’s ’Gay Marriage’ Law
A decision could come Thursday in a case involving what critics call "gay marriage by another name."
